Aquaz Kalkwasser Premium™

Kalkwasser Premium™ is made up of pure calcium hydroxide with unparalleled solubility and the lowest heavy-metal content. These characteristics will aid in the preparation of a saturated limewater solution which is safe to use in your aquarium.

Kalkwasser Premium™ can be used to replenish and maintain calcium and alkalinity levels, the two components that are essential for the formation of calcium carbonate skeleton of corals and clams. It will also precipitate harmful heavy metals and phosphate from the prepared solution.

Directions of use :
Dissolve 1 teaspoon of Kalkwasser Premium™ to 3 Liters (1 gallon) of water, let it stand for an hour and drip only the clear solution slowly into your aquarium water. Avoid dripping the undissolved residue of the solution. Monitor the calcium and alkalinity levels weekly to determine the uptake and adjust it's dosage accordingly.

If used correctly, Kalkwasser Premium™ will not cause any significant ionic imbalance to the water chemistry.
Ideal pH of 8.2 - 8.4, Calcium of 420 ppm and Alkalinity of 3.5 - 4.5 meq/L should be maintained.

Never add directly into the tank water. Do not mix Kalkwasser Premium™ with any buffer, and dose separately with other additives. Keep container tightly closed when not in used to avoid reaction with the atmosphere, causing precipitation.

Precautions :
Use glove if possible and always mix outside the tank. Calcium hydroxide is caustic. Avoid contact and inhalation of particles. In the case of eye or skin contact, rinse under running water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention.
