Aquaz Calcium Premium™

Calcium Premium™ is made up of pure calcium chloride with unparalleled solubility and the lowest heavy-metal content, designed to raise or maintain calcium close to levels found in nature. The advantages of using Calcium Premium™ as a calcium supplement is it's ability to raise or adjust calcium to the desired levels rapidly.

Coral calcification relies on optimal levels of both calcium and carbonates for new growth, if either becomes deficient coral growth will cease and in most cases decline in health. To prevent this the aquarist should monitor the alkalinity levels frequently when using Calcium Premium™ and make appropriate adjustments with a buffer additive like Alkalinity Premium™.

Directions of use :
Dissolve 1 teaspoon of Calcium Premium™ in 1 cup of freshwater and drip the solution in a high flow area of the aquarium every alternate day until the desired calcium level is achieved. Monitor the calcium levels weekly to determine the uptake and adjust it's dosage accordingly.

If used correctly, Calcium Premium™ will not cause any significant ionic imbalance to the aquarium water chemistry.
Ideal pH of 8.2 - 8.4, Calcium of 420 ppm and Alkalinity of 3.5 - 4.5 meq/L should be maintained.

Never add directly into the tank water. Do not mix Calcium Premium™ with any buffer, and dose separately with other additives. Keep container tightly closed when not in used to avoid reaction with the atmosphere, causing precipitation.

Precautions :
Use gloves if possible and always mix outside the tank. Avoid contact and inhalation of particles. In the case of eye or skin contact, rinse under running water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention.
